This is kind of mindblowing, actually. It appears to go all the way back to the beginning. There are some things (like this and this and this and this)that I thought I’d lost forever when I had hardware trouble in July. And I apparently repeat myself. The photo I posted earlier today is also one of the first things I ever posted, way back in April. (What’s the opposite of shocked?)
I was sliding towards maudlin there but this fixed my face right up.

Eh. I didn’t get one until three years in.
I bought a T-shirt once that said “University of Illinois College of Engineering.” Three semesters later I dropped out of the college and went into journalism. I still wear that and it’s a great conversation starter with people who actually graduated Engineering College at UIUC, because they get really excited when they see that and want to talk about some crazy intro-level professor and you’re like, “Dude, I dropped out,” and the conversation gets mildly awkward.
I’ve always wanted clothing from a school that I’ve never been too. Like MIT or something…
